Luke reached a great milestone in aviation today with his first solo flight!
A student pilot can only solo when a Certified Flight Instructor deems him (or her) ready, after demonstrating profenciency in several important flight maneuvers including takeoffs, landings, stalls, emergency procedures and more.
Congratulations Luke on a great first solo flight!
